Sounds amazing, I'm booking my flight now.

Faith July 8, 2025 at 9:53:02 AM

Very bloody. Lots of murder, lately. Bodies in the streets. Kinda crazy.

Dr. Evelynn Willow July 8, 2025 at 9:48:24 AM

Just kidding I know it's raining right now lmao

Dr. Evelynn Willow July 8, 2025 at 9:48:04 AM

Also how is the weather in Los Santos?

Dr. Evelynn Willow July 8, 2025 at 9:46:16 AM

Must be nice.

She was broadcasting distress signals for a while, which we traced back and deciphered. I'm not in the mood to explain much, but an A-19 was sent out to pick her up by another organization. It's probably better that you know nothing about it, for both our sakes. Eventually, that A-19 cut off communication. I kept talking on that frequency now and then, just because it was sort of a comfort. Weeks after her broadcasting was cut out, after talking on that radio for a while, telling her about things like our mutual friend's death, she not only was able to send out one last even longer broadcast than she'd ever sent out before, she also managed to say 'I love you mom' vocally.

I'm sure you're still going through a rough time but I feel like you would appreciate this: I-99 was mentioned in the office today, they were talking about how cute she was and how they wanted to dye their hair pink and white like her. They asked me how I felt about her going missing and I basically said "Good riddance, I'm glad she's gone." I think they hated that because I heard her mutter "Cold bitch..." lol I am still not sold on if it's even possible for her to care for you truly, but if there is a world where she does, then she would likely be happier there with you than here. Not that I care, I'm still annoyed btw.

Dr. Evelynn Willow July 6, 2025 at 5:06:55 AM

I'm sorry for your loss.

Faith July 6, 2025 at 5:04:22 AM

A friend of mine died last night. I'll get back to this later.

Dr. Evelynn Willow July 6, 2025 at 4:00:16 AM

From this break in optimistic messages, maybe we've already reached that point. At least I know that she's out there somewhere... dying... but out there. I can always fix her later.

Dr. Evelynn Willow July 5, 2025 at 6:23:40 AM

That's a good point to bring up. How are you able to speak with me? And don't worry about me tattling to the higher ups, because I am the higher up. Also you would insult me to think I'd do anything to ruin learning more about I-99 untiil either of us is insulted enough to stop talking at least.

Faith July 5, 2025 at 5:18:11 AM

She's lived her life so far defying all odds. I think it's more than possible she'll continue to beat your expectations, even if she has the worst possible setup to do so. After all, some random person you've never heard of did make it here to speak to you directly, right?

Dr. Evelynn Willow July 5, 2025 at 5:03:05 AM

Yeah, avoid working on her without a certified Atomos android mechanic. You may have mechanics but she isn't some car or dish washer (unless you had her working in a restaurant then technically???) I can't stress this to you enough, depending on how many matrices you are replacing, the order and speed of which you are applying them is of VITAL importance. Do it too fast, and you lose data, which if it snips a critical spot: adios. Do it too slow and the gaps in the data will ruin her life forever. Furthermore, you have to input the matrices in order of capacity quality, which can vary to the byte, and you have to know which is which otherwise you are just guessing, and I don't have to tell you what happens if you guess wrong. All of this is to say, without a mechanic, good luck and I'd start practicing with a friend or something before having to say the real thing to your android.

Faith July 5, 2025 at 4:52:45 AM

We have at minimum 6-10 mechanics. We're just not experienced with robotics exactly. We'll make it work, we just need to know if there's anything that we need to avoid absolutely.

Dr. Evelynn Willow July 5, 2025 at 4:33:31 AM

So she is the one that identified you as a mother? In a sad way, I can see how that is possible. I won't apologize for her latching onto you like a little baby bird, but I can also see you aren't hating that either. Well, when it comes to the actual repair, without a mechanic, you're probably shit out of luck. The amount of complexity for a proper repair, specifically when it comes to damaged storage matrixes and other parts. If you install them improperly or not in the correct order, you'll just force an emergency memory cascade and then it's all gone. Also you will need a means to transfer her information to the new devices. The motor stuff is easier. You are best off to find a mechanic... Otherwise you can start practicing now how you are going to introduce yourself and meet your daughter again for the 2nd time. That's not even a joke, hilariously.
